Small Hammered Heart Stud Earrings

The Small Hammered Heart Stud Earrings were cast using at least 10 percent Cornish Tin from the SS Liverpool which sailed from Penzance in 1863. Not long after leaving port, the SS Liverpool collided with the La Plata amid dense fog in St George’s Channel. The Tin ingots were recovered from the wreck 138 years later and blended with other shipwreck tin and new tin for durability.  Therefore, each piece holds a bit of Cornish history and culture from another era, making it all the more special.

The Small Hammered Heart Stud Earrings measure 7/16 inch across at their widest part and are on sterling silver posts.  Made in the United Kingdom.

Gift box with card about the Cornish Tin Shipwreck story included.
