Awen Pendant

The Awen Pendant was cast using at least 10 percent Cornish Tin from the SS Liverpool which sailed from Penzance in 1863. Not long after leaving port, the SS Liverpool collided with the La Plata amid dense fog in St George’s Channel. The Tin ingots were recovered from the wreck 138 years later and blended with other shipwreck tin and new tin for durability.  Therefore, each piece holds a bit of Cornish history and culture from another era, making it all the more special.

Awen is a centuries old state of being, when humanity lived in harmony with the earth. It is the state of divine inspiration and balance. The three rays represent:

Body - Heart - Spirit

Earth - Sea - Air

Wisdom - Truth - Love

The Awen Pendant measures 1 inch on each side and is on a leather thong adjustable up to 24 inches. Attractively gift boxed and includes a card with the Cornish Tin Shipwreck story. Made in the United Kingdom.

Tin is the traditional 10th Wedding Anniversary gift.
