Lucky Irish Sixpence Pendant for Any Occasion

Lucky Irish Sixpence Pendant for Any Occasion - The Lucky Irish Sixpence was first minted in 1928, shortly after Ireland’s Independence in 1922. On one side is the Irish Harp, a symbol of Ireland since at least the 17th century, and the word Éire meaning Ireland. On the other side is the Irish Wolfhound known for its hunting prowess and docile nature and the word Reul, meaning currency.

This authentic circulated sixpence is made of Cupronickel (copper, nickel and manganese) and mounted in a Sterling Silver screw top bezel with Sterling Silver chain. A nice Celtic gift for any occasion. Story card and gift bag included.
